Strollers 1st Team are holding a sportsmans brunch at the Civil Service Club on Sunday 20th June. The guest speakers are Mr Sandy Penman, Mr John Gahagan and Mr Joe Camay. The afternoon begins at 12 noon with food being served from 12.45. Tickets are priced at £20 and are available from any committee member or at the bar in the Club.

Disappointing result against Leith, Strollers were the better team over the first 20 mins and after Alan Wilson scored it just went downhill, not a lot of chances in a scrappy game with Leith taking theirs. At the end Leith deserved to win the tie and good luck to them in the next round. This was probably Strollers worst performance of the season. Leith rose to the occasion, Strollers didnt. Back to Premier League business next week against Tynecastle, another tough game but thats what the top division is all about.

Our midweek game against City will be subject to a lunch time inspection on Wednesday. Looking at the forecast there must be major doubts over the game. We can only hope the weather improves and the game gets the go ahead.
Game on, 2 first half goals from Craig Dickson and Alan Wilson gave Strollers a half time lead against City. Although City scored through Jordan Caddow early in the 2nd half Strollers ran out worthy winners in the end. The team have shown great resiliance since the turn of the year and tonights performance showed the players have pulled together and are backing each other on the park.
We now look forward to our King Cup tie against our neighbours Leith Ath on Saturday. The game has a 2.00pm ko and will be played to a finish.
