Sad news about Steven Wright- Amateur Team
It's my sad duty to inform you that our team mate Stevie Wright died on Saturday.
Most of you will know Steve but for those who don't, he has played with the Strollers (midfielder) for the last few seasons and was in the CSS team last year. He had been out this year and some of last year with injury but made a return a few weeks ago against Haddington.
The Strollers have lost a really nice guy in Stevie. He was a quiet guy off the park, but on it a different story – a good player to have on your team as the opposition knew not to mess with him.
On behalf of everyone at The Stroller Football Club our sincere sympathy goes out to his family and friends at this sad time. Steve was a good guy and he'll be sadly missed. I will keep you up-to-date on the funeral arrangements.

Strollers Soccer School
The Strollers Soccer School at Muirhouse is held on a Saturday morning. This will start at 9.30am and will end at 11.45am. Ages range from 5 - 8 and anyone interested should arrive at 9.15am to register.

Youth Development
Civil Service Strollers are looking to expand their involvement in Youth Development in the Muirhouse, Pilton and Drylaw area. At present we have Youth teams at 11, 14, 2 x 16, and our Under 19 side playing out of the Muirhouse development at Marine Drive.
The Club is going through a major tranformation over the next Year with the introduction of an all weather barn for 5 a side, similar to world of Football. Work is due to commence early next Year and will offer facilities second to none.
We would like to hear from anyone interested in becoming our Youth Development officer to take this venture further.
Civil Service Strollers are full members of the Scottish Football association and take part in the Scottish Cup and also the Scottish Youth Cup at under 19, the Senior side have recently been promoted to the Premier League of the East of Scotland.
Anyone interested in being involved should contact the Club Secretary or General Manager in the first instance.
